7th Grade Course Selection Night: Thursday, February 6th, 2025!
At Course Selection Night you will have the opportunity to walk around the school, meet the principal & assistant principals, some teachers, and school counselors, and have questions answered, as well as enter your selections into Skyward in our labs.
This year you may choose to either complete your course selection in one of our labs at the school, where helpers will be available to answer questions during Course Selection Night –or- you may choose to make your selection from home in Skyward.
Course Selections for 7th grade classes will be open in Skyward beginning Monday, February 3rd through Sunday, February 9th.
IMPORTANT: You MUST turn in a copy of your Course Selection sheet after you have entered your selections in Skyward. You can do that at the school or by emailing it to elkridgerecords-uc@jordandistrict.org

We will hold the following sessions on February 6th:
- Last names A – G, please attend at 5:00
- Last names H – M, please attend at 5:30
- Last names N – Z, please attend at 6:00
- DLI & ALPS students only at 6:30
If you are unable to attend your assigned session time, please attend one of the first three sessions.
- If your student will be new to Jordan School District or new to Elk Ridge Middle School boundaries a parent/guardian must complete forms and upload documentation here and be accepted through the school prior to being able to make course selections. This must be done in advance. It will not be available to do on Course Selection Night.
- REQUIRED IMMUNIZATIONS – prior to attending 7th grade, all incoming students are required to provide an updated copy of their immunizations records showing they are current on all immunizations, including the “7th Grade shots” of TDAP and MCV. For those claiming exemption: a new exemption waiver is required after age 10. (Please see enclosed flier for more info). You can drop it at the school or email it to elkridgerecords-uc@jordandistrict.org
