School is what you make it. In elementary, you spent all day with the same 30 people. Now, you have 1,200 other kids to get to know, learn from, and play with. Put yourself out there. We’ll help. Here are some things to get you started:
Service organization where students help at a variety of school events, a day at the capitol, etc. Apply here.
After-school group working with PTSA to create a year-long look back with pictures, stories, etc.
An October 1 mile/5K fun run held during the day.

Wherever you’re involved during the year, keep track and gather points to earn the Wapiti Medallion and dinner.
Hot Dog Roasts
We regularly grab the grill and roast hot dogs before evening events like concerts and plays.
Celebratory lunch for students with perfect citizenship, academics, and attendance.
Students with no tardies in the previous quarter get a bingo party with prizes, food, and fun!
Recognition for outstanding student achievement in academics.
Student Body Officer
Student government gives you a chance to serve others, steer the school, and make sure everyone is having a good time.
After-school club where students build and complete in coding and engineering activities.
Math, engineering and science activities once a month after school.
After school sports activities promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
Student of the Month
Recognizing students who are voted on by teachers and administration, and get breakfast with their parents.
Student of the Day
Recognizing students on the morning announcements throughout the school being outstanding.
Student Talent Show
The best of Elk Ridge talent, on display for everyone to enjoy. Singing, dancing, comedy, and more!
After-school club that meets to practice improvisation in the theatre setting.
After-school workshop held twice a year for interested students.
